Freshman QB Nicot Burnett was awarded the Channel 14 News Player of the Week Award for his performance last Friday in a 56-8 win over Washington. MVHS Volleyball Members Named All-Conference!

Three more Mt. Vernon High School athletes were recognized in the Pocket Athletic Conference this week.   Coaches of the various volleyball teams could all nominate up to three players, however, they were not allowed to vote for their own players.  When the votes were counted, receiving 1st Team accolades were seniors Brooke Jackson and Libby Steinhart.
