Friday night each wrestler took to the mat one time after the “Parade of Champions” featuring all participants and coaches.  In order to wrestle in the medal rounds, wrestlers must win their Friday night match first.

Austin Bethel and Tristin Choate had their seasons come to an end on Friday night but not before putting up a fight!  Austin lost a close battle that was  intense the whole way through.  Tristin met up with an impressive #1 seed and had a tough way to go.  Both of these young men had impressive seasons and we couldn’t be more proud of them and their accomplishments!

After what should have been a season-ending injury to Paul Konrath, he braced up and fought his way to the State Finals Medal round by winning his match Friday night.  Saturday morning, he won his first match and lost his 2nd against a junior from Penn High School in a very closely contested match.  Paul went on to win his next and final match putting him on the podium in 3rd place in the state!

Gentlemen, we are proud of you!

We are…  ?
