MVHS Record holder Sam Thomas to sign with KWC to play football!
To cap off a stellar senior season, Sam Thomas will transition to becoming a KWC Panther next fall.
We invite you to join us in congratulating and celebrating Sam’s accomplishments on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 3:30 pm in the MVHS Athletic Foyer.
Thomas has earned 4 Varsity letters in football, 3 Varsity letters in basketball and will receive 1 Varsity letter for Track and Field later this spring. As a member of the football team, Sam re-wrote several football records this past fall including:

Because of these records and his efforts on the field, Sam was a 2 time Player of the Week this past fall along with being the 44 News’ Player of the Month. He has received Big 8 All-Conference recognition, All-State recognition and as an Indiana Preps Top 22 player, he will participate in the IFCA All-Star game later this summer.
As an MVHS student athlete, Sam has been a member of the National Honor Society for 2 years.
When asked why he chose to join Head Coach Craig Yeast and Wide Receivers Coach Alfonzo Browning, Thomas said: “I like the distance from home as well as the direction the new coaching staff is taking the program.” Coach Yeast was a wide receiver a UK and a former player in the NFL. Sam will be a wide receiver for the Panthers while studying to earn a degree in Business.
