Junior Libby Steinhart commits to Lipscomb University this past Sunday. Libby has committed the past 3 off-seasons to playing club volleyball for Evansville United and has plenty of success on the court. She finished her Junior year with 239 kills, 79 aces, and 319 digs. She earned over a 1,000 career digs this past season and is on her way to earn 1,000 career kills during her senior year. She has been a 3 year varsity starter for the Lady Wildcats. When asked why she chose Lipscomb, Libby felt she could really grow as a person and player at Lipscomb. “The players kept in contact with me after my visit, and Head Coach Brandon Rosenthal showed lots of support in my high school career these past few months”. “Lipscomb also offers great programs in the medical field, and I’m considering majoring in Biology”. Libby also acknowledged that Lipscomb as a very successful volleyball program, finishing in the top of the ASUN conference for the past 6 seasons, making NCAA tournament appearances in 2015 & 2016.
