Vincennes Lincoln Captures Lead Early To Defeat Mt. Vernon Wildcat Varsity
Mt. Vernon Wildcat Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 7-0 loss to Vincennes Lincoln on Monday. Vincennes Lincoln scored on a single by Cardinal in the first inning, a single by Vickers in the first inning, a single by Gilles in the first inning, and a single by Lane in the second inning.
The Mt. Vernon Wildcat Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Vincennes Lincoln, giving up seven runs.
Vincennes Lincoln opened up scoring in the first inning, when Cardinal singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
